Overlooking
the Sacred Ground
is a simple stone amphitheater.
The three-season amphitheater
can be used for public and private
ceremonies, or for quiet contemplation.
The Sacred
Ground is covered
with bands of red, white and
blue swaths of wildflowers, and is
separated from the park by a low but
dense and wide encircling hedge. The bands
point towards the direction of impact, while
echoing the plowed contours of local farms.
